بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم ۔ کیا آپ نے اس شخص کو دیکھا جو سزا و جزا کو جھوٹلاتا  ہے ؟ یہ وہی ہے جو یتیم کو دھکے دیتا ہے- اور مسکین کو کھانا کھلانے کی ترغیب نہیں دیتا- پس ایسے نمازیوں کے لئے ہلاکت ہے- جو اپنی نماز سے غافل رہتے ہیں- جو ریاکاری کرتے ہیں- اور< ضرورتمندوں کو> معموملی چیزیں دینے سے بھی گریزکرتے ہیں۔ {سورہ ماعون} بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم ۔ کیا آپ نے اس شخص کو دیکھا جو سزا و جزا کو جھوٹلاتا  ہے ؟ یہ وہی ہے جو یتیم کو دھکے دیتا ہے- اور مسکین کو کھانا کھلانے کی ترغیب نہیں دیتا- پس ایسے نمازیوں کے لئے ہلاکت ہے- جو اپنی نماز سے غافل رہتے ہیں- جو ریاکاری کرتے ہیں- اور< ضرورتمندوں کو> معموملی چیزیں دینے سے بھی گریزکرتے ہیں۔ {سورہ ماعون}

Sharing the Joy of Eid-ul-Fitr

29 Ramadan, 1432 A.H

After a whole month of fasting and participating in virtuous activities, Muslims who observe Ramzan feel a strong spiritual regeneration within themselves. As Ramzan comes to an end, Muslims all around the world are getting ready for the first three days of celebrations of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Eid-ul-Fitr has always been the most joyous Islamic occasion for the children. After a whole month of fasting, the reward that they get in form of Eidi is something they wait for the entire year. Colorful clothes, bangles, and mehndi for the girls and new kurta shalwar for young boys are amongst their highlights of the day. Even the Siwayiyan of the first day of Eid taste better than the ones we eat on other occasions. Regardless of how joyous Eid might sound to some people, thats just one side of the picture.

Can you imagine Eid for girls who dont have their older brothers to bring them bangles or give them Eidi? Or young boys who dont have their fathers to take them for Eid namaz? Have you ever wondered how the celebrations would be like for a mother whos 22 years old son recently embraced shahadat two days prior Eid because he loved the Ahlaibait (as)?

As much as a man wants to remain in the state of denial, the facts dont change for families who lost their loved ones. We, Shaheed Foundation Pakistan, try our best to make Eid as normal for these families while providing them with Eid clothes, eid cards and gifts but we need your support. We request each of you, along with your families, to come forward, take responsibility of these families with us, support the foundation, and help us promote the message to help Khanwada-e-Shuahada. These Shuahada are an asset of our Millat. They did ahsaan on us. Having rights on us, we are indebted to these Shuahada and we have to show our thankfulness by assisting their families in dire need.

Once Imam Ali was asked the meaning of being well-off or well-provided for. Imam Ali replied, "Your welfare does not lie in your having enormous wealth and numerous children but it rests in your being highly educated and forbearing and in your being proud of your obedience to Allah. If you do a good deed then thank Allah for it and if you commit a sin then repent and atone for it. In this world there is a real welfare for two kinds of people, one is the person who, when commits a sin, atones for it and the other is anxious to do good as much as possible." - Saying # 94. Nahj-ul-Balagha.

When enjoying Eid with your own children, family, friends, dont forget to show your gratitude and share the happiness with the children of Shuhada this year. They deserve it too.

Shaheed Foundation Pakistans whole team prays that Allah forgives all our sins; accepts our prayers that we offered in the month of Ramzan, help us be better momineens in the eyes of Alaibait (as), bless us with more love for Ahlaibait (as), give us all taufeeq to fulfill our responsibilities towards Khanwada-e-Shuahada, and make us worthy for the army of Imam-e-Zamana (as), ameen.

We wish you happiness, peace, prosperity, and nothing but the best in this life and hereafter.

Eid Mubarak!
