Maqbool Hussain embraces shahadat on October 26, 2009. He was victim of March 1, 2009 target killing of Kalan Bazar, D.I.Khan. He got injured in the attack and was in kooma since then. He was treated in D.I. Khan Hospital and then PIMPS hospital Islamabad, where doctors gave up hope and he was shifted to his home in D.I. Khan where he embraced shahadat.

His age was 45 years. He was brother of Jawad Hussain Jawad who also embraced shahadat. Namza-e-Janaza will be offered today in D.I.Khan.
