In the name of Allah, the One who protects us against all evil plans of the Satan and his co-workers.

The Muslims all over the world are protesting against the Blasphemous cartoons which were put up on a widely used social networking website called 'Facebook'. Following the protests, the Govt of Pakistan has put up a Ban on Facebook and Youtube because both allowed alot of blasphemous and hate material.

We strongly condemn the act of allowing blasphemy by Facebook.

Throughout history, Never did the followers of Islam propagate or said anything against the holy personalities of other religions. Islam is the religion of peace and it teaches tolerance towards the followers of other religions of the world. It states in the Quran,

[Suraye Al Anaam 6:108] And do not abuse those whom they call upon besides Allah, lest exceeding the limits they should abuse Allah out of ignorance.

Also it is important to note that personalities like, Moses, Jesus, Joseph, who are called upon by other religions are also regarded as honorable Prophets in Islam. In this situation, It is absurd to blame Islam and Prophet Muhammad (Peace and salutations be upon him and his progeny) to promote violence in the world. (Nauzubillah).

It is important to understand that this is not a one off incident in nature. Since last 3 decades or so systematic attempts have been made at regular intervals to incite the muslims of world , by sponsoring blashemous act towards the most dignified human-being ,our last Prophet Muhammad PBUH and His Holy Progeny .

That of Salman Rushdie (L.A) and the cursed Danish journalists are two important cases in points. Not to be forgotten ,besides is the razing to ground the mausoleums of revered Progeny of Prophet PBUH in Jannatul Baqee and more recently Sacrilege of Shrines of Karbala by Saddam-e-Kaseef , Sacrilege of Shrine of Maula Ali AS in Najaf & the bombardment of Samarra Shrines American troops /yazidi takfiri baathist remnants .

These are connected events to test the nerves of the followers of Islam and Ahlulbayt . It is highly appreciable that on official level a good step has been taken albeit under pressure from Lahore High Court directives and amid apparent initial reluctance by PTA authorities citing fears of financial losses , as reported in some sections of press . But the situation really calls for at-least such a response . After all if chinese could survive without japanese products for material reasons and countries of latin america could put defiance for principles of morality ,what hell will break lose on us if we completely overlook the material aspect of worldly things just and just for the sake of our beloved Holy Prophet PBUH and His Holy Progeny.

& Lets rest assured that nobody in mankind's history perished for standing for Islamic principles .

Rather,standing for Islamic fundamentals and putting sharp defiance to the Sufyani forces of evil, is the jugular vein of a vibrant and dignified life . And by dignified life ,we must all note , we mean the eternal life and un-tarnishable dignity taught by Karbala in 61 Hijra.

Lastly , the point mentioned by the most popular Arab leader on the eve of danish paper controversy , can not be over-emphasized - That , had the decree of Imam Khomeini regarding Rushdie (LA) been taken seriously then , no other satan would have drawn courage to commit such an act . Here is where hangs the question mark .

Its time for all fuqaha of the muslim world to issue a unanimous decree.

Besides its the test of abilities for the international court of justice too and time for it to prove its neutral credentials and im-partiality.

We strongly condemn these acts of Blasphemy and urge these networking websites to reform their services.
