16 Nov 2011 Tax Exemption for Donors of Shaheed Foundation With the blessings of Almighty Allah, Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.w.w) wa alay
Muhammad (a.s), and with the prayers of all those who are nearer to Them,
Shaheed Foundation Pakistan Got another achievement and another sign of
trustworthiness.
Now the donors of Shaheed Foundation Pakistan will get exemption over their
income tax liability as Shaheed Foundation Pakistan is now approved U/S 2(36)(C )
of the income tax ordinance, 2001. Read With the rule 212 and 220 of the income
tax rules, 2002.
According to this rule, Donors are entitled to tax credit in their assessment as
per rate prescribed in section 61 of Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, on the amount
donated through crossed payee cheques.
