
Two scouts volunteers belonging to Hussaini Scouts Group embraced bullet injuries when Rangers and FC personel panicked under pressure and resorted to firing , which struck on one portion of 21st Ramadhan procession . The injured scouts volunteers received bullet injuries in legs and were quickly evacuated for emergent medical aid .
According to the Commissioner of Karachi, Roshan Ali Sheikh, first the firing was started from inside the procession and after that the rangers opened aerial fire to control the situatio . On the contray ,one volunteer of the procession, Mohammad Mehdi of Majlis-e-Wehdat Muslimeen, condemned the false statement of Commissioner Karachi Roshan Sheikh who claimed that no firing was done from inside the procession adding that the Rangers and FC personnel opened the firing on the procession after the exchage of hot words with the mourners .
The unfortunate incident caused a little mayhem inside the procession as charged mourners registered strong protest by chanting slogans while a few unscrupulous elements even trying to take law in their own hands. The overall discipline of the procession however remained very preserved and the mourning procession peacefully concluded at the Hussainian Iranian Kharadar without any major incident taking place.
Earlier, Several small processions, taken out from different parts of the city, had gathered at Nishtar Park to become part of the central procession while noted cleric Maulana Shahan Shah Hussain Naqvi in his address highlighted various noble aspects of the life of Hazrat Ali (RA).
He said that Hazrat Ali (RA) was brought up under the shadow of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) that was why Maula-e-Kainaat Ali Al-Murtaza (RA) is considered the treasure of knowledge and the symbol of tolerance, bravery, generosity and eloquence even today.
He played exemplary role in serving Islam and confronted the enemies of religion and Shariah while shattering the foundations of oppression, brutality and suppression till his martyrdom, he added.
He condemned the American and Israeli conspiracies against the Syrian government and termed that Syria is the bastion of Palestinian resistance and US and Israel are hatching the conspiracy to destabilize this bastion.
Maulana Shahan Shah Hussain also condemned genocide of Muslims in Myanmar and demanded of the United Nation, OIC, and Human rights organizations to play their role to stop the brutalities against Muslims.
After the Majlis, the central procession of the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (RA) set off from Nishtar Park under the leadership of Abu-Turab Scouts and passed through Britton Road, Shahrae Khurasan and M A Jinnah Road where mourners offered the Zohreen prayers at M. A. Jinnah Road led by Maulana Hamid Hussain Mashadi and organised by Imamia Students Organization.




Addressing the worshippers, ISO Karachi office bearer Baqar Abidi denounced the United Nation and OIC criminal silence on the genocide of Muslims in Myanmar and urged the United Nation, Muslim Countries and OIC to play their due role to stop the genocide of Shia Muslims in Myanmar.
He announced that Muslims across the world would celebrate the Quds Day on 28th of Ramadan to show their solidarity with innocent Palestinians. He also condemned the US attacks on Pakistani territories and urged the government to cut off relations with Washington.
After the prayers, mourners of the Youm-e-Ali (RA) procession staged demonstration against the US-backed Israeli conspiracies in Syria and Muslim genocide in Myanmar and torched the American and Israeli flags.
Procession restarted from the M. A. Jinnah towards its traditional destination while passing through Mansfield Street, Empress Market, Regal Chowk, Preedy Street, Bolton Market, Rampat Rai Road, Nawab Mahabbat, Khanji Road and Kharadar and concluded at Imambargah Hussainian Iranian peacefully.




Thousands of volunteers were deployed for security of the procession who cordoned of the whole procession with the help of police and the Rangers.
The city police had adopted foolproof security arrangements for the safety of mourners along the route of the procession. A total of 14000 police and rangers personnel were deployed to ensure foolproof security on this occasion.
The streets and alleys adjoining the main M A Jinnah Road were sealed to prohibit entry of irrelevant persons and vehicles while all of the nearby markets remained closed under the directions of the concerned government authorities.
Several organizations including CDGK, MWM, ISO, SUC and others had set up their first aid medical camps at different spots along the main M A Jinnah Road to provide quick help to the mourners.
Shaheed Foundation arranged shohada pictures exhibition on this occassion which was visited by mourners to pay homage to Shohada-e-Millat-e-Jaffaria Pakistan too.
